Introduction To Collective Harmony Studio
Purpouse
Collective Harmony Studio is a creative space dedicated to making new meditation and wellness music that supports and enhances our everyday practices and activities. No music gear, skills or technical knowledge needed.
It's also a place to share, appreciate, ask questions, teach, and engage in meaningful conversations about music and sound.
Whether you’re interested in music creation or just in music/sound appreciation and discussion, this group is for you.
This group has two parts: the music creation and the music hub.
Part 1: Music Creation
The music creation dynamic is about collectively shaping the themes and emotional tone of the music productions through simple and meaningful input. Resulting in music aligned with the participants vision.
How it works
The participants will share insights and make decisions to influence the production of music.
Is not necessary to have any technical or theoretical knowledge about music (you won’t need it). It’s all about our perception, intuition, and practical applications.
There are two ways to participate in the process:
Voting for your preferred option.
2. Sharing your comments, toughts, feedback, ideas, etc.
A sound offering will be provided. The sound offering is a group of short musical ideas or sketches created with a randomization method and the feedback from previous collective creations.
One of the audios will be voted to become a complete music track.
We can have more polls to guide the outcome including the music purpose and future themes.
You can participate as much or as little as you want.
If you are not sure how to start, you can use this prompts to help express what you feel or think about the music
A cycle is the time frame between each sound offering. The summarized updates are separated in cycles.
Early members that participate in a cycle can request a free license for commercial use of the music track created in that cycle.
Part 2: Music Hub
The Music Hub is a space for open, free-flowing discussion, appreciation, and exploration of music and sound. It doesn’t matter if you are a musician or not.
The idea is to foster curiosity, learning, sharing, and engaging with weekly prompts designed to spark conversation and discovery. Anything goes, the only rule is to keep it related to music or sound.
Actively sharing your curiosity, insights, questions, and music interests, is very appreciated.
Musicians who wish to share, promote their music, or have some sort of interactive dynamic within the group are also welcome to join.
